Be Gentle With Yourself

I was really motivated by a post on Dr. Wayne Dyer's Facebook page from December 2, 2018.
I think it is so important to be gentle and forgiving with yourself. It's important in multiple situations. For example, imagine starting a new habit. You might miss a day. Don't beat yourself up, just get back on track. Another example is trying to meditate. Your mind will likely wander at some point. Just gently bring your mind back to the moment. There is a critical voice in our head that we hear sometimes. It can be harsher than we'd allow to be said to a friend. That's a perfect time to be forgiving with yourself and try supportive self talk. And in general, none of us as perfect. So as we move through life, remember to be gentle and forgiving with yourself.
